2022-2023 Winter Municipal Snow Agreement needs to be initial and dated.

Discussion and Motion to accept the 2022-2023 Winter Municipal Snow Agreement
Supervisors’ would like me to call and inquire if  PENNDOT is going to compensate for the higher fuel cost. Tabled until June 21, 2022 meeting.

Received our 2022 Local Share Assessment (Gaming) on 5-5-22.

Range Resources sent us information on the Noble-Greathouse Unit

We received the Co-Op Performance Bond

We received a Russell Standard Performance Bond

Ohio Valley Septic exchanged our regular porta john at the park for the handicap porta john we requested today. 

On June 27, 2022 at 9:30 am John Weaver will be here to review Blaine Township PENNDOT Liquid Fuels Program for year ending 2021

McGuffey Area Master Revitalization Plan invited Blaine Township to public meeting where they will unveil the plan and celebrate their progress in making McGuffey Area an even better place to live, learn, work and play. It will be on:

Officer Eric Erhardt attended our township meeting and gave us the Pennsylvania State Police Incident Statistic for Blaine Township

  • Old Business

Randy Sochor has been a Blaine Township since January 25, 2012 which is over 10 years. Should we change the Road Workers job description to include three weeks of vacation after completion of ten years employment?
Discussion and Motion to include and additional week of vacation will be earned after the employee works for Blaine Township for 10 years for a total of three weeks per year.
Tabled until June 21, 2022 meeting when Supervisor Moore is in attendance

Called First Energy again about the streetlights again on 5-6-22.
Megan Patrick said to send over our supporting paperwork that shows we have been reporting the same streetlights since February 23, 2022 and she will call them.

  1.  Correspondence

Recorder of Deeds have implemented direct deposit for our local transfer tax.

We received a PA1call for PA underground utility line protection request. They want to know if we want to attend a teleconference May 20th between 1:45 – 2:30. Randy and Ronnie are attending a Flagger Training that day. They are doing Pole Restoration and are driving a piece of steel approx. 5 feet deep and banding it to the pole.  They will discuss further details of the work on the meeting.

Motion to be made that Lois Miller will attend the teleconference on May 20, 2022 and take notes since Randy Sochor will be at Flagger Training.

11.  Road Report

Ten Mile has not started our Storm Water Culvert project yet for lack of workers

Intersection of South Alley and 1st Street has a pond overflow and is tied into the main storm drain.  The pipe is 12 foot deep.  Discussion on who is responsible for cost. Solicitor’s Associate Megan Patrick will look into who is responsible whether the township or owner. Megan Patrick stated it was up to the home owner to pay for the repairs.

Took Scrap to General Alloys for a total of $121.00

Discussion of purchasing a second mower.

This will be tabled until June 21, 2022 when Supervisor Moore will be in attendance

Supervisor Sochor stated he will be ordering stone for the Township next week.

550 truck went in for repairs at Sugar Run Welding and Fabricating

12.. Solicitors Report               

There is a new draft Heavy Hauling Agreement to be approved for use. The following things have been modified:

The amount for the Applicant Fee from $250.00 to $300.00:
Added a new Section 9; and
Added a new Section 10

Discussion and Motion to adopt the revised Heavy Hauling Agreement as presented by Solicitor’s office with revisions as discussed.
