MINUTES
March 12th, 2026, at 5:00p.m.

1. Meeting called to order at 5:00p.m. by Chairman, Frank Nemeth
2. Roll Call – All present: Chairman, Frank Nemeth; Vice Chairman, Randy Sochor; Supervisor, Heath Shriver; Secretary/Treasurer, Eden Rogers; and Solicitor, Charlotte Karnes.

4. Acknowledgement of Heath Shriver’s Appointment/Oath of Office
5. Public Comment – Cheryl Cunningham spoke about the T-Town Car Show that will be held on June 28th, starting at 3p.m.
6. Executive Session was held at 5:35p.m. on February 12th, 2026
7. Approval of Minutes for February 12th, 2026
   a. Solar Ordinance Hearing Minutes: Motion made to approve by Frank Nemeth. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
   b. February Meeting Minutes: Motion made to approve by Randy Sochor. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
8. Treasurer’s Report
   a. Approval of bills:
   i. General Fund for $9331.03
   ii. Other funds: all $0
9. Motion made to approve February bills by Frank Nemeth. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
10. New Business
    a. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to table purchase of gas tank. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    b. Discussions to alter Ballfield Lease Agreement to $2250 per year, plus additional $250 alcohol permit fee, not including any delivered dirt by the Township. Motion made by Randy Sochor to change the Agreement. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    c. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to approve T-Town Car Show’s use of the Township Pavilion on Sunday, June 28th. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
    d. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to approve Co-op Joint Bid (bid includes 10,000 gal of CRS-2 road oil, 80 tons of #67, and 260 tons of #8). 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
    e. Discussions to change credit card limits for employees and add credit card for Ronnie Houston. Motion made by Randy Sochor. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    f. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to renew insurance. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
    g. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to change water purchasing company to J.D. Enterprises. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
11. Old Business
    a. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to hold Data Center Ordinance Hearing on April 9th, 2026, at 5p.m. and begin advertising. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    b. Update on smartphone for office use: not yet received.
    c. Motion made by Randy Sochor to approve Resolution #3 of 2026: Agreement with Canton Township – Joe Joscak. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    d. Motion made by Randy Sochor to table deciding on the next steps for the 1986 International truck. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
    e. Discussion of job descriptions
    f. Discuss use of Range Resources Grant
    i. Already purchased table and chairs totaling $1410.40
    ii. Motion made by Frank Nemeth to table the decision of what to do with the remainder of the Grant ($1589.60). 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
12. Other Business
    a. Consider new projects for kids in the Township (new basketball court, etc.)
13. Road Report – employees are continuing to tar and chip the roads.
14. Zoning Officer Report – the owners of the dilapidated building on Buffalo Creek Road will be sent a letter notifying of its violations and that it will be condemned immediately.
15. Solicitor’s Report – nothing to report.
16. Correspondence – nothing to report.
17. Taylorstown Wins – new fenceposts put up at the Ballfield.
