Chairman Moore called the meeting to order at the Township building on April 20, 2021 at 5:46 pm. The meeting was closed to the public due to the National Security Mandate Orders of the Governor and the CDC. Resident were instructed to call in at specific times to discuss their issues on speakerphone.

Public Comment: Debbie Wolbert called to request Scott Bernett who is running for District Justice to be able to introduce himself to the Supervisors. Scott Bernett will call at 6:30.
Sean Mazurek, Range Land Agent, was at the meeting to get the Supervisors’ signature for a gas lease. The original had the wrong parcel number and page number. He notarized the document and gave the Supervisors a dollar.

Scott Bernett who is running for District Magistrate called and was placed on speaker phone to introduce himself to the Supervisors
Update on the Garden Tractor Pull track at the Blaine Township Pavilion. They are in the process of being incorporated. They will build the track. It would be up to the Supervisors to figure out where they would put the track. Garden Tractor Pull Club will provide the insurance.

Solicitor Makel submitted for review job descriptions for Secretary/Treasurer, Road Crew, and Road Superintendent /Roadmaster
Road Report
Received a lot of questions about the Iron Bridge being closed.
Ten Mile is working on Walker Hill.
Ten Mile is to sweep and vac the roads on Thursday, April 22nd. Letters were put out to notify residents.
We will order a handicap porta john for the park to be delivered.
Solicitor’s Report
Taylorstown Softball League leaders came to the meeting. Solicitor Makel had drawn up an agreement between Blaine Township and them. Mr. Lowry the President of the League was in attendance. They have an exclusive agreement with Blaine Township for the ballfields. The Taylorstown Softball League would like the agreement for five years. They will pay $750.00 per field (2 fields) and $250.00 for the alcohol permit. Blaine Twp will mow and they will weed wack the ballfields. Blaine Twp pays for a dumpster for the ballfields. Taylorstown Softball League will be ordering and paying for the two porta Johns for the ballfields
Solicitor Makel will amend the agreement and send it by email to Mr. Lowry.
