SUPERVISOR MEETING
Minutes
April 9th, 2026, following Data Center Ordinance Hearing
- Meeting called to order at 5:20p.m. by Frank Nemeth.
- Roll Call – Frank Nemeth, Chairman; Randy Sochor, Vice-Chairman; Heath Shriver, Supervisor; Charlotte Karnes, Solicitor; and Eden Rogers, Secretary/Treasurer were present.
- Pledge of Allegiance
- Public Comment – Doug Robbins representing T-Town Softball came to discuss the new terms listed in the Ballfield Lease Agreement.
- Executive Session was held at 6:00p.m. on March 12th, 2026, to discuss each supervisor’s responsibilities and goals for the Township.
- Approval of Minutes for March 12th, 2026 – A motion was made by Randy Sochor to approve the Minutes for March 12th, 2026. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
- Treasurer’s Report
a. Review of Treasurer’s Report for March 2026
b. Approval of bills:
i. General Fund for $11,148.13
ii. State Fund for $12,729.07
iii. Impact Fee Fund for $773.45 - A motion was made by Randy Sochor to approve the bills for March 2026. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
- New Business – No new business.
- Old Business
a. Discuss updates on gas tank regulations – Motion made by Frank Nemeth to table deciding on purchase of gas tank. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
b. Discuss/Approve Ballfield Lease Agreement – Motion made by Frank Nemeth to table approval of Ballfield Lease Agreement. 2nd by Heath Shriver. All in favor.
c. Discussion of regulations and processes required to sell/advertise the Township’s 1986 International Truck.
d. Discuss use of Range Resources Grant (tabled) – Supervisors will decide what to do with grant at a later date.
e. Discussion of condemned house: information on owners was found. - Other Business
a. Discussion of Supervisor tablets – Reminder for supervisors to use Township-issued tablets for government work only. - Road Report – Not planning on tarring and chipping this year. Instead, focusing on fixing other aspects of the roads (ditches, etc.).
- Zoning Officer Report – Zoning Officer not present.
- Solicitor’s Report – Nothing to report.
- Correspondence – Many residents are scheduling pavilion rentals at the Township park.
- Taylorstown Wins – All of the posts at the Ballfield are screwed in and the lights were fixed.
- A motion was made by Frank Nemeth to adjourn the meeting at 5:55p.m. 2nd by Randy Sochor. All in favor.
